Here’s a new image from a month or so ago, I was lucky enough to be able to get in front of this impressive storm front looking back towards Brisbane from Woody Point. Check out my website and my facebook page for more new images.
This is the back end of the Gayundah Shipwreck north of Brisbane. I’ve photographed it many times before looking for different angles.
This is all that’s left of the old Hornibrook Bridge, 30 minutes north of Brisbane it used to join Brighton to Redcliffe but has now been replaced by newer more modern bridges. I’ve watched them slowly deconstruct it over about 12 months and turn each side of it into fishing platforms.
I captured this one last week on the Redcliffe Peninsula, just before the rain started to bucket down again.
Another early start to the day, the sunrise didn’t really happen but there was a nice glow on the horizon.
Another recent sunrise from Woody Point, Qld. Single frame on the 5d Mk 2 with the 70-200 2.8L.
Here’s an image I shot this morning, I got a new lens yesterday the Canon TS-E 24mm 3.5L II Tilt/Shift lens, so I was keen to get out and see how good it is. This is a 3 image vertical stitch using 11mm of shift on the 5D Mk 2.
This image is from the other morning, the sunrise didn’t really happen but the overcast light worked well for this one.
