Sunrise at Quindalup Boatramp, Dunsborough in Western Australia’s South West.
We spent a couple of days around the Karri Valley, Pemberton. This image was taken after sunset, looking across the lake.
I’m still processing my Western Australian images from my January trip. Here’s a pano from the Quindalup Boatramp catching the last golden rays of the sun.
The Shorncliffe Pier has recently been closed off by the Brisbane City Council due to safety concerns. This is impacting significantly on community events, local businesses through loss of trade, and our enjoyment of the Shorncliffe beachfront. Please show your support by signing the online petition to SAVE THE SHORNCLIFFE PIER HERE. This is an image I took at the Shorncliffe Pier on Monday night.
We were on our way back to Perth after a great couple of weeks in the South, we could see huge strikes of lightning hitting Perth city. By the time we made it to Perth the storm was mostly over just some moody cloud about. This image is of the Crawley Boatshed after the storm.
This is all that’s left of the old Hornibrook Bridge, 30 minutes north of Brisbane it used to join Brighton to Redcliffe but has now been replaced by newer more modern bridges. I’ve watched them slowly deconstruct it over about 12 months and turn each side of it into fishing platforms.
Here’s one of my takes on the famous and very photographed Busselton Jetty.
We spent a couple of day’s at Hamlin Bay, WA. Nice light and great beaches what more could you ask for.
This image is from Shorncliffe Jetty, not far from the gallery. The fisherman was doing his thing so I included him.
Here’s a new image captured north of Brisbane at sunset, quite a simple composition but I think it will work printed big.
