Dorrigo NP has some great waterfalls and rainforest. We spent a couple of day’s in the area, this image is of Crystal Falls.
This image is from the other morning, the sunrise didn’t really happen but the overcast light worked well for this one.
I was walking through the forest at the Natural Arch recently at around 3:30am on my way to see the Glow Worms, when through the darkness I noticed these glow in the dark mushrooms. A strange thing to see when your still half asleep:) Shot with the 5D Mk2 and the 70-200 2.8L.
I’ve had no internet for the last week or so as we’ve moved closer to our business towards the Sunshine Coast, Qld. It’s been a great change of lifestyle living on the coast, lot’s more time to shoot photo’s:) I captured this image the other evening, out towards Bribie Island.
Here’s another image of Mount Warning from last week, taken looking through fields of sugarcane.
I captured this image of Mount Warning last week while in NSW. The Aboriginal name for Mt Warning is Wollumbin ‘The Cloud Catcher” it’s the basalt plug of the world’s largest and oldest extinct volcano. Due to it’s height and position on the east coast Mt Warning catches the first rays of Australia’s morning sun.
Another image from the Flinders Ranges, I only processed this one recently after going through my files from the trip again. Very little done to this one just good light and the super sharp 50 1.4. New images to come from my trip through QLD and NSW from earlier this week.
I’ve been in NSW capturing new images this week, the weather has been very stormy and moody. This image is captured standing right on the Queensland/NSW border.
